The room was much smaller than expected even though I paid for a luxury room. There were maintenance issues with a loose tap and a leaking shower head. There was only one of everything per couple per day (we had to share a miniature bottle of shower gel, there was only one beer / cola / juice in the minibar). The hotel was ok but I think next time I would look for an option that felt a bit more luxurious.

Il m'a été demandé de justifier que j'ai bien utilisé ma carte bancaire pour payer, parce que certaines personnes (du coup, les personnes de couleurs) peuvent voler la carte d'autrui et l'utiliser. J'étais à Paris suite à l'invitation du ministère du Travail. Arrêtez de juger les gens de par leur couleur ou race. En plus de ça la chambre, pas de connexion, ni de réseau pour téléphoner à ma famille, il me faut sortir pour. Désolant comme expérience.

Location is fantastic. Away from high tourist buzz but metro takes you everywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was compact, but enough for relax and good sleep. Breakfast is fantastic with fresh pastries, juices and jams. Also eggs, sausages for heavier breakfast. Breakfast is presented very beautifully and gives good start for the day. I recommend this hotel if you are looking good value place to be your base for tourist days. Thank you hotel team!

We like this hotel and have stayed here twice now. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms clean. Breakfast is good and the location excellent. Unfortunately our room on the first floor was close to a nightclub which meant we didn't sleep for two nights over the weekend. We didn't have this issue on our previous stay so maybe a different room would have been better. We paid for a deluxe room on our second trip but it was so similar to the standard room that we shouldn't have bothered. A standard room is fine. Other than those two issuers we had a great time in the hotel and will probably be back.

The hotel is a little gem. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much effort. Great breakfast buffet with huge choice. The hotel is in a fabulous location, close to the main attractions but also with the brilliant bars, restaurants and little boutiques of Le Marais on the doorstep. The rooms, whilst small were extremely comfortable with everything you could need and very stylish. We would definitely recommend and stay again next time we are in beautiful Paris.

Nous avons logé 4 jours à l'hôtel Speria en famille avec deux chambres communicantes. Situation de l'hôtel parfaite (proche de l'arrêt de métro "Batsille" / proche de la gare de Lyon), petit-déjeuner excellent, propreté impeccable, hôtel silencieux ! Bel accueil avec tous les employés. Nous recommandons VIVEMENT cet hôtel.
Wonderful helpful and professional staff made my stay in Paris an absolute success. The hotel is in a great location it is very easy to get around all Paris sights from this location with amazing restaurants and cafes close by. Great choice and good price breakfast buffet very clean and fresh food daily. I was travelling solo and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

Friendly and very Food hotel
Hotel has great location close to the metro and to the restaurants, nice reception desk and friendly staff, for this I will give two stars. The room was very small, for the price paid for the hotel, it should be at least bigger. We were at the back of the hotel with no day light, no view nothing. The room was not clean during our stay, there was dust everywhere, the sheet has not been changed. The were not tv channels for two days, internet was awful and almost no network at the rooms. Also, for the price paid they should at least include the breakfast, not to paid extra 10euro when you paid 250-300 euro per night.

Good value hotel in an excellent location. In my room bed cover and cushions needed cleaning and the plug in the shower / bath was blocked up. Also there was paint tape around the lift door from painting for the whole time I was there and didn’t look good. Otherwise I would definitely book again.

It was a lovely stay at this hotel. As a family with 2 children, we were provided with adjoining rooms. The rooms were modern and very clean. The breakfast had a lot of variety.
Breakfast Quality was excellent, EXCEPT for what appeared to be croissants. They were terrible. We had to go to a patisserie to get good ones
We found this hotel to be in an excellent location and it was generally clean. The decor is somewhat cheap and not all of the staff were as attentive to the needs as others. Some in our group did not have replacement toilet paper/soap/shower gel and working fridges. The front desk attendant did not seem concerned and did not remedy this. At the front desk Marten in particular was attentive, courteous and very helpful arranging tours and Ubers.
I loved staying and this small, but very chic hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I loved the modern decor. My room was large by Paris standards and the bed very comfortable. The location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and cafés surrounding it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great stay in this lovely boutique hotel. Comfortable beds, rooms nicely decorated, modern and well appointed. Hotel kept to high standard. Service good, breakfast too. Very convenient location for attractions and metro. Lively area but felt very safe and noise not an issue. Lovely meandering locally in Marais. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We loved it. The only suggestions we would make are to have more drawers in the rooms, perhaps via bedside drawers, and to change wall writing station in the bedrooms to a mirror above the desk/dresser as practically that’s what is really needed there
Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our room on the sixth floor was quite spacious and included a street view to see all the activity going on down below. We really enjoyed the sight and sounds with the window open in the evening. The hotel location is excellent and just walking around the neighborhood made us feel like we were getting the real Paris experience. We stayed for 3 nights with a family of 3 in two rooms. Everything was clean, comfortable and gracious. Quiet and restful after long days of touring the city. Design and appointments in the rooms were kept up well and air conditioning worked great during some very hot days this summer! Would highly recommend and would stay here again! Un super hôtel très bien situé, dans un quartier calme et pourtant proche de tout. A deux pas du Marais et à quelques mètres de la station de métro 1 pour rejoindre les nombreux sites de la ville. My previous favorite hotel in Paris had an ugly remodel. I now have a new favorite, the Hotel Bastille Speria. It is lovely. The location is perfect for those wanting Paris without the tourist crush while being near the sites we all love.

This hotel is located in the Bastille region, literally steps from the metro (take the Beaumarchais exit right next to Hippopotams restaurant and the hotel is 4 doors down). The area appears very authentic and is not overrun with tourists, but it is a very busy area with locals. Every street you turn down has shops and restaurants. The rooms were small, as expected in Paris, but we had plenty of room. The air conditioning was amazing and kept the room quite cool. Our windows overlooked the street and our toddler loved looking out the window and watching all the activity. We found the room very quiet at night, the bathroom was enormous, the water pressure was great and the shower was large. Don't count on the elevator working, but when it does work, it was helpful. Otherwise, there are some steep spiral stairs although they are wide enough to walk up with a large suitcase. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to add hooks around the room to hang things since there is not much storage space. You will love this hotel for the authentic experience!

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre établissement sympathique et si bien situé. Le “bagagiste” était très gentil et agréable. Pour nous, il n’y avait que de minimes remarques qui auraient rendu l’expérience parfaite: - Avis de dernière minute (à l’arrivée) concernant l’inaccessibilité de l’ascenseur. Aucune compensation offerte. - Aucune débarbouillette dans la salle de bain et que 2 serviettes. - Le petit-déjeuner manquait de petits fruits, fromages.
Nous n'avons pas utilisé le petit-déjeuner et ne pouvons donc pas donner d'avis à ce sujet. Bon hôtel, très propre, personnel sympathique. Vaut la peine d'être répété !

Shower did not drain and presented a risk of flooding with every shower (I needed to cut showers short as a result). I mentioned this on my first morning, and the issue was not resolved. Also, elevator was not in service, which could have been a big problem for an older demographic (especially for higher floors). If elevator was out of service for a longer period of time (as was my understanding), it would have been a nice courtesy to reach out to guests to let them know and offer them an opportunity to cancel if needed (even though staff was available to help with luggage).

The most important for a Finn is to get coffee in the morning. The machine cafe au lait button didn't work and even though said to the staff, it didn't get fixed, I assume the milk was finnished from the machine... same thing on the next morning. My fried didn't get coffee at all. Also in the fist morning all the breakfast items were finnished and no one from the staff did any action to fill them, they were just cleaning the tables or doing some other stuff in the kitchen, we needed to wait quite some time and as we had a timetable to catch up, I needed to go twice and say that can you please fill the plates. Otherwise the options we quite OK. Croissants were not as expected in France, we actually got better in Finnair lounge in Helsinki before we came to Paris. Otherwise we had a lovely vacation and we bought then few coffee at cafe which saved our day.

Front desk was very easy to communicate with and friendly when we arrived. Based on reviews we requested a room at the back of the hotel and had no issues with noise. Bedroom was small but had everything we needed. Great central location in the city. The restaurant on the first floor for the restaurant was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights. Comfy beds, great location and fabulous service. Only things we would change would be to have some drawers to put clothes in and more hangers - we only had three hangers for two people to hang up clothes. Also there were quite a few small flies on the breakfast food that wasn’t covered - if all the food was covered that would resolve this issue. Anyway they were very small things - thank you for all the wonderful staff.

We (I, my wife and our teenage son) booked a King size bed with the expectation that we would (like anywhere else) be provided with a mattress for the child. But to our surprise, the attendant who checked-in refused to let us stay in one room, forcing us to rent an additional room on a separate floor. we ended up paying a lot of money for the additional room, stayed separate. Not only that the room was on the first floor, window facing the street. At last night a vehicle alarm went off on the street. This alarm kept on ringing (loud) throughout the night. I couldn't sleep. Next morning when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told to have called police about it at night (excuse me. are you not hearing this alarm yourself?). I AM MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED TO HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL. WE DEMAND THAT YOU RETURN US OUR $$ FOR THE ADDITIONAL ROOM THAT YOU FORCEFULLY RENTED US.

I had a great stay at the Bastille Speria. It's in a fantastic and safe location, all of the staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Only downsides are the wifi in my room wasn't great, the pillows weren't soft, and the view was just a fairly dark stairwell. Overall though I'd recommend it :)

The room was unbelievably small and this after a cruise ship cabin. Very little storage. The mattress was not good. the tv was too small. Instant coffee (horrid) and water were not refilled daily. No wash clothes-apparently not used in Europe. No place to put two large suitcases. Barely room to walk around the bed to get to bathroom. The mattress was very flimsy and not very comfortable. Quite a bit of street noise. The two best features of the room was bathroom: the shower which had good pressure and was fairly large and a private toilet room; Secondly, the room had the best lights for in bed reading of perhaps any hotel i have ever stayed in, so thank you for that. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is close to metro and plenty of cafes. Other than the hotel desk clerk who required the credit card upon which i reserved (and paid for month's previous) the staff was pleasant and helpful. And even the fellow who upon our arrival demanded credit card which i no longer had was respectful and nice and just trying to enforce the hotel policy requiring the credit card used to pay for the room. However, because this was our first encounter with the hotel and because we had just completed a long journey to arrive, it negatively impacted my impressions.

Copied from my Google review: The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable...if only I had been able to sleep in it. I could not, unfortunately, because I could not get in the front door last night. I wasn't sleepy right away, due to jet lag, so I decided to find a cafe around midnight. The night receptionist asked me when I would be returning, I wasn't really sure so I said probably a couple hours. He replied that if he didn't answer to just wait, which I found odd, but didn't think much of it at the time. At 2:30 I attempted to return and found the front door locked, no big deal, right? I rang the bell, knocked, tried to peer in the windows, but no one came. So I waited like he instructed. For an hour. Frustrated and tired, I attempted to ring and knock again. This effort was answered with audible snores! He was effing sleeping! Nothing I did caught his attention. By this time I had made a new "acquaintance". A man had decided I was his type and after some light conversation he decided to try his luck. I was able to push him off, but he was very persistent. I didn't feel safe waiting around any longer so I started looking for a cafe to hunker down in. Of course, he insisted on escorting me and kept trying to take me to some place or another. I literally had to pretend I needed a bathroom, hoping to give him the slip. I ducked in the first bar we came across and quickly alerted a patron as to what was going on. Luckily he was very quick to understand the situation and was able to facilitate my escape. I was fully aware that the first person knew what hotel I was staying at so I didn't feel comfortable returning right away, not knowing whether or not I'd be able to get in. I decided to wait for a bit in the very back of the closest restaurant I could find that was still open. By this point I was exhausted so I drank a bit too much coffee and accidentally ordered a giant charcuterie plate, big enough for 4 people. 40 euro later (!) I decided to try my luck again. Finally, at around 5:30 in the morning I was able to get to my lovely room. It's now 7:30 and I'm still too wired on caffeine and adrenaline to sleep in my comfortable bed. And that charcuterie plate isn't sitting well either. PS. The lady at check in was very nice and helpful
One week before going to the hotel, our customer cancel the trip and the Hotel don´t give us the money return, In Spain and Portugal Hotels if you cancel one week before because that reason, they returm back the money reservation. We paid almost 800 euros for two rooms one night and we lost it because we could not go to Paris because the France company cancelled the Business meeting and we confirm our cancelation to Hotel and they don`t give us any reasonable solutions just lost the money reservation
Bonjour, J'ai trouvé votre hotel très bien, mais le prix des chambres assez cher. Le petit déjeuner était bien, mais pouprrait être mieux (plus de variété de pain) pareil pour les confitures.
C'etait trés belles jours dans Bastille Speria. L'hôtel est parfait situé pour promenades sur la Seine, faire le shopping et faire le sight-seeing. Nous avons eu une chaleureux accueil et nous reviendrons.
L'hôtel est parfaitement situé entre Bastille et le Marais, au centre de l'animation parisienne, mais cependant bien au calme à tous égards. La décoration de l'hôtel est de qualité et moderne, les différents lieux d'attente, de passage, ou de détente sont tous très bien organisés et très agréables. L'équipe est toujours aimable et professionnelle, toujours prête à conseiller et à rendre service, bravo à tous. Je recommande sincèrement ce lieu offrant un très bon rapport qualité prix.

This hotel was found by our travel agent as it suited our requirements & budget. Our 4 night stay was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Although only a small hotel it is very clean all staff we met were friendly & helpful, especially Juan, who was only on duty on the day of arrival. He advised us on a couple of restaurants in the area. We were able to try 2 of them & both were excellent. The area around the hotel is vibrant with lots of bars & restaurants & the Bastille Metro station was just around the corner & several bus stops were within walking distance. Breakfast, continental obviously, was self service with lots of choices. We would have no hesitation recommending the hotel to anyone.

We stayed for 6 nights as a family of 4. We had interconnected rooms with our kids, which worked well. Despite the noisy, vibrant location, the windows totally block out the noise. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms really gorgeous. We walked and toured all day, everyday, so it was perfect to rest and reset. Please be warned, you’re bed and room will only be made up if the bed and surfaces are completely clear of your personal items. We didn’t know this, so wondered why we weren’t getting the room services required. Most staff spoke English perfectly well, one had little to know English when we checked in. We would stay here again, it was a perfect location, cute, comfortable and quiet.

I selected this hotel because of its location. Walking distance to Place des Vosges and right at the Metro station for the 1,5 and 8 trains. Rooms are small, but that's ok - it's all I needed. Room was clean, Martin at the desk is wonderfully helpful, and I appreciated the locked entrance doors at night. Suited my visit purpose just nicely. Yes, I'd stay there again.

Cet hôtel est très bien placé ,place de la Bastille. Le chambres même si pas très grandes sont très agréables et les salles de bain pouvant espérer être de petite taille en raison de la taille de la chambre, c'est tout le contraire. Seul bemol, dans la rue il y a plusieurs restaurants, a coté et en face, donc légèrement bruyant. Je ne pense pas qu'on puisse faire une "grasse mat". Par contre, la nuit j'ai pu bien dormir. Je reviendrai sauf si c'est pour rester plusieurs jours et vouloir me reposer le matin au réveil.

The only minor thing was the airco in the room. It worked but we could'nt turn it cooler. It was pretty warm to sleep.

Are you planning a business travel to Paris? Hotel Bastille Spéria is the place you need to stay at. It is tiny, but very cozy, with its own style, very clean, and strategically located, at just few meters from a station of the line 1 of the subway. Moreover, it is in a district, the Marais, where people do live, so that you can easily find any kind of shop in case you forgot some crucial item at home. Both quality/price ratio and the competence and ki densa of the hotel staff are excellent.

Arrived at hotel and greeted by two very friendly members of staff at reception, with perfect English. Our room was on third floor, very spacious and immaculately clean. The bed, very comfortable and so quite along with the black out blinds, terrific nights sleep. The location - perfect, close to the metro and within walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and cafe's. The option to walk to sites such as Notre Dame. I would highly recommend this hotel we had a fantastic stay.

PROBABLY EXACTLY WHAT WE HOPED AND EXPECTED FROM A HUASSMANN 6 STOREY BUILDING - COMPACT ROOMS/BATHROOM BUT VERY NICE WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. LOCATION WAS IDEAL FOR US, EASY TO GET TO GARE DU NORD AND CITY CENTRE SIGHTS AND PLENTY OF LIVELY BARS AND GOOD BISTROS WITHIN 5 MINUTE WALK [THE HOTEL RECOMMNEDED A FEW]. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST OFFERED BUT NONE OF US HAD ANY FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIET RESTRICTIONS, SO UNSURE ABOUT GLUTEN OR DAIRY FREE DIETS. THE ONLY MINOR GLITCH WAS IN CHECKING OUT WITH BREAKFAST INCLUSIVE, BUT THAT WAS PROBABLY DUE TO PAYING THIS SEPARATELY AFTER THE INITIAL ROOM BOOKING. A GOOD 8 /10 OVERALL

L’hôtel est bien situé et de très grand qualité pour un 3 étoiles. Le petit déjeuner est parfait (de tout, sans superflus et très bien présenté), la chambre est très propre et de bonne taille. L’accueil a été bon et s’est amélioré tout au long du séjour. L’emplacement est idéal avec le métro à côté et le choix des restos est pléthorique dans les alentours (le 3ème et le 11ème à pied et dans stress).

Lovely hotel that is decorated beautifully. I do however genuinely feel we were placed in a standard double despite paying for a deluxe.... I went down to reception to check and the receptionist responded that it was. However it didn't seem 'deluxe' at all. The sound proofing was extremely poor with noises from outside and the room next door very loud.

Tout était parfait . Petit bémol , nous avions commandé du champagne et la bouteille n’était pas fraîche et pas de seau avec glace dans la chambre . Nous avons dû le demander . Pour le petit déjeuner , il manque des théières pour le thé ( car les tasses sont très petites ) ainsi que des petits pots pour la confiture .

Lors de notre reservation nous avions demandé une chambre avec 2 matelas séparés, au calme et en étage elevee. Suite a un appel de notre part 3 jours avant notre arrivée et une négociation nous avions obtenu une chambre au 5eme étage. A notre arrivée on nous a dit que ce n était pas possible et on nous a mis dans une chambre au 2 eme étage. UNe chambre "de luxe" sans lumière et sans vue c est inadmissible Ma demande d une couette supplémentaire n a jamais été satisfaite non plus.

I had a very good experience staying for 3 nights. The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location near to very good restaurants. The hotel bar could be better and offer more options - a G& T would have been wonderful! Also the International TV channels didn't work after the 1st day which was a shame and Pillows could be firmer! Otherwise I would recommend this hotel and hope to stay again.

Hotel was ok. Some broken things in the room and there could have been better communication about what was and wasn’t included in the mini bar. Bedding was not soft and the mattress pad cover looked super dirty and hairy. Rooms were small, but guess that is expected in Paris. Hotel staff were friendly. Breakfast was good.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Speria and we were very happy with our choice. We are Parisians living abroad and staying a the hotel was perfect. Rooms were super clean in this recently refurbished hotel, with everything you need (mini bar, safe,...). Our bed was really comfortable, WiFi was relatively fast and the air conditioning super quiet. Hotel personnel was efficient and very friendly. We have stayed in the past in much more upscale hotels that were more providing a better accomodation. We will definitely come back. It was also very convenient for the Opera Bastille!

Nous venons plusieurs fois par an à Paris où résident nos enfants. Si nous ne dormons pas chez eux, le SPERIA est le meilleur compromis : ligne 1, à pied pour la gare de Lyon et à pied pour la République où vivent certains de nos enfants. Un seul bémol : la dimension réduite des chambres mais c'est la même dans cette gamme dans tout Paris. Nous reviendrons.
Lovely hotel, relaxed and quiet. We were made to feel really comfortable. The breakfast was great! Small but good selection. Close to the metro. Restaurants and shops close by. 20 minute walk to the Louvre area of Paris. Easy to get to from airport either by train and metro or taxi.

Je me suis rendu dans cet hôtel avec des collègues à l'occasion d'une réunion d'affaires à proximité. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par l'hôte présent ainsi que par son assistante. Les lieux sont propres, rangés, organisés, avec un charme typique du quartier, accompagnée d'une ambiance ni trop claire, ni trop sombre. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée, tout comme la salle de bain. Les tarifs sont dans la moyenne de ce qui peut se faire dans le quartier mais le calme y est supérieur : un très bon point pour se ressourcer. Petite déception concernant le petit-déjeuner qui manque selon moi de choix et de fraicheur. Remplacer les produits industriels (pain, yaourt, fromage) par des produits frais de producteurs alentours serai un gros plus. Concernant les pancakes secs & les divers pains, une provenance des boulangeries alentours serai également fort agréable. Un très bon séjour néanmoins que je ne manquerai pas de réitéré dès que l'occasion se présentera.

Toilet door handle broken, spotlight in shower not working. Sheets did not fit the mattress. Decaf pods available for breakfast on day 1 only. Told a delivery was due, but what kind of management allows products to run out completely. Shower gel not replenished, so had to ask for more. This hotel has the potential to be outstanding, but for this to happen attention to detail is needed.

My sister and I visited Paris for the first time and were incredibly grateful to have spent a week here. We were greeted by Juan at the front desk who was so helpful and kind. We were nervous about how to get around and he gave us all the information we needed to know. He said the room we had had the best view and he was right - it was beautiful. The room may be small but it was cozy and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The room didn’t get as cold as we expected, but we were able to crack the windows open to get some fresh air. The location was a distance away from the more touristy areas, but it was close to a metro station and awesome shops at the Marais. Overall, very happy with our first stay and will absolutely return for our next trip. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.

The hotel is situated great and rooms are nice and clean. The elevator is very slow and sometimes you can wait too long. Also problem with connecting the staff through the phone internally.

We had a lovely stay in your hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Location was great as well with lots to see and do walking distance and the metro a few minutes walk. Hotel staff were very friendly at the desk and during breakfast. We just stayed 1 night but what a lovely time we had at Bastille Speria. The hotel is a truly high quality boutique hotel. Great style, fabulous decor. 100% clean. Spacious room, beautiful bedding and such a comfy bed. Lovely touches everywhere. We can't fault it. Cleaning staff impeccably meticulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfectly situated and the standard of facilities and decor was very high throughout. Unfortunately it was unseasonably hot when we stayed and our room was unbearably warm. We tried sleeping with the windows open but due to the central location of the hotel the traffic noise was too loud to sleep. Staff were extremely kind trying to offer a fan, but this did nothing and we were still uncomfortably hot. This did ruin our stay and I wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of air-con.

La chambre était beaucoup trop chaude. Nous avons été dit que la climatisation était fermé parce que c'était le temps d'automne. Il faisait en tout cas 20 degrés dehors, et la chambré est devenu chaude. Même si la réception nous a dit que le chauffage était fermé il faisait toujours trop chaude, pour ca nous nous sommes reveillés chaque nuit.

Il n’y avait pas moyen d’avoir un petite lampe de chevet pour lire. Toutes les lampjes étaient allumées ou bien tout était éteint.

This hotel is in a great location with many transport links and a good selection of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast self service choice was plentiful whether you turned up early or late and everything was replenished constantly. Our room was quite small but adequate for our needs, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of lights. Outside noise was a bit annoying late and early but we had a first floor room overlooking the street. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

We booked Hotel Bastille Speria for our wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful stay at your place. We loved Room 604. It was nicely decorated and we had a perfect street view. We really appreciated the hand written welcome card. That was so sweet. The breakfast quality and the breakfast service were excellent. Special thank you to the breakfast lady. She was taking great care for the buffet and cleanliness. That is really worth to be mentioned. Thank you for four wonderful days.

We stayed for three nights in this excellent small independent hotel. The location was perfect and the hotel extremely clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return when I next visit Paris.
The best location, very clean but a bit pricy for what you get. On the other hand hotels in Paris are pricy. The room was too hot, for us it wasn't possible to cool the room and there was to much noise outside to sleep with opened windows.
Our room was impossibly small, even for Paris. Two people could not comfortably use it. Further, the coffee at breakfast was bad (the machine) and the coffee cups were also ridiculously small. The staff was indifferent at best. Thus I found the price excessive for what we received.

Pour presque 400$ ( 300€) la nuit, je suis déçue, la climatisation était instable, l’ascenseur est vieux et lent, le tapis de ma chambre était sale, les murs griffés, les tasses de café sales. Le wifi n’arrivait pas bien au 6e étage. La localisation est parfaite.
Seul bémol que je mettrais c'est l'affichage d'un room service alors qu'il n'existe pas.
The reception team was really poor in the welcome and in the interaction with us. Only practical questions were made by them, no welcoming, no greetings, no quality time spent in the hotel questions about, no explanation regarding the breakfast or other potential services. The hotel and the room were very nice and well maintained, out of the shower in our room that was broken in the apartment and the water came out after taking any shower. We appreciated the welcome in the room and the payment (ballon and chocolates).
Wir sind sehr glücklich darüber uns letztlich für dieses Hotel entschieden zu haben. Eine Metrostation war direkt um die Ecke, das Viertel, in dem das Hotel liegt, sehr sauber, wir konnten abends ohne großen Aufwand zum Essen gehen und morgens gab es ein leckeres Frühstück mit frischen Croissants, ...... Obst, und allem was man sich zum Frühstück sonst noch so wünschen kann. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern angereist. Unsere Zimmer lagen direkt nebeneinander, waren sehr ansprechend und sauber und boten uns alles, was wir uns nach einem eindrucksreichen Tag durch die Stadt hätten wünschen können. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder in dieses Hotel.

Excellent hôtel dans un excellent emplacement. Il a le métro à distance de marche, des restaurants, une pharmacie, de petites supérettes et bien plus encore. La chambre était petite mais très agréable et impeccable, tout comme la salle de bain. Excellent petit déjeuner dans un environnement accueillant mais surtout soin méticuleux dans la disposition et l'approvisionnement continu des produits consommés par les clients de temps en temps. Personnel discret mais très gentil. Sûrement la prochaine fois à Paris ce sera ici, mais surtout il sera également recommandé à des amis et à des proches. 👏👏👏

Other than wishing the boulangerie across the street wasn't closed down, which isn't your fault, my only complaint is the way the connecting rooms are set up. With our foyer, there were so many doors to open and close that moving around was awkward. We enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

Excellent Boutique hotel, perfectly situated in the Bastille area & 500m from the Metro, making everything easily accessible. Friendly yet professional welcome and Spotlessly clean in all areas. Felt like staying at a friends house, with boutique hotel touches. Quirky decor with attention to detail. Relaxing lobby with comfy chairs to ponder the day’s activities. Small longe area off the lobby with computer and desk if required. Our room was excellent 5th floor with rooftop views, exceeding what we were expecting, not huge but with everything we wanted: Very comfy bed, quality bedding, tv, WiFi, tea/coffee, full length mirror to admire oneself and a lovely bathroom. We didn’t have breakfast, as we wanted to try pavement cafes, and literally round the corner we found the infamous Bofinger Brasserie with its fabulous 30’s decor, where we enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Fresh oysters, modules. If you’re heading to the Bastille area, I would definitely recommend this fabulous relaxed hotel.
L'hôtel est situé dans un coin tranquille du 4e arrondissement, à quelques pas du métro. Notre chambre était très calme et nous avons pu dormir de manière excellente. Juste à côté se trouve la brasserie Bofinger, qui sert d'excellents plats alsaciens, et au coin de la rue se trouve un petit supermarché pour les petites choses à faire entre deux (boissons, fruits).

petit hôtel, très bien situé, proche de nombreux restaurants, la chambre était propre, fonctionnelle et suffisamment grande pour un court séjour. le personnel était sympathique et serviable, il n'y a pas un très grand choix pour le petit déjeuner mais c'était néanmoins tout à fait correcte. le seul bémol mais comme tous les hôtels à Paris c'est le manque de parking, un parking public est situé à une petite dizaine de minutes à pied donc rien d'insurmontable, le prix néanmoins de 36.5€ pour une arrivée vers 18h30 et pour un départ le lendemain vers 10h30 est prohibitif.

The Hotel Bastille Speria was just what my friend and I needed to enjoy the area in which I used to live 22 years ago. The staff was very welcoming after a long flight from the U.S.. We were able to store our bags until the room was ready(early). The decor was updated, the room well equipped, and the bath luxurious. I was just so happy to be in such a convenient location close to my favorite cafes, my favorite park(Place des Vosges), and close to the metro. All in all fantastic!!!

We were very delighted with this hotel which is small but perfectly equipped! The rooms are light and very comfortable, the staff are super friendly and everywhere is very clean. The hotel is situated in a great position, right next to the Marais district, surrounded by lots of great cafes, restaurants and shops and very close to the underground service. I will definitely return!
Great hotel with excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nicely modernised with good design. Only slight issue was the tv signal on the 6th floor didn’t really work apart from a handful of channels. Would certainly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

We found the hotel completely randomly on Booking.com so had no idea what to expect. We wanted two separate beds (I was with my adult son) and the hotel responded positively almost immediately. Our stay was delightful and served our needs exactly. I would happily stay there again on a future Paris visit.

Le Bastille Speria est devenu "mon chez moi" parisien. J'y séjourne régulièrement. Le décor chic contemporain est agréable et on se sent bien tout de suite. L'hôtel est toujours bien fréquenté. Le personnel est aimable, toujours prêt à rendre service. Pour le shopping ou les affaires, la situation est idéale. Et pour dîner il y a d'excellent restaurants dans le quartier.

Hôtel très confortable, supérieur selon moi à la moyenne à Paris, pour le prix payé. Chambre spacieuse, très joliment décorée, grande et belle salle de bain. Petite déjeuner bien garni avec dans l’ensemble des produits de qualité. Parfaitement situé à deux pas du métro Bastille. Compter avec les bruits de la ville si vous dormez fenêtre ouverte, mais rien de plus normal avec une position si centrale. Nombreux restaurants à proximité.

It was a nice room but too small for ‘deluxe’ rating. We booked this room to get a seating area (as advertised on booking.com) but there was no seating area. Also not so good: - only one side of bed has socket for charging phone. - in bathroom the watertap above sink didn’t have warm water (only in shower was warm water) - no socket for hairdryer above/next sink - the airco wasn’t working the first night and the wooden box around it was loose (was fixed by reception but strange this was missed by cleaning person when preparing room)

Lovely well positioned mid-range hotel, perfect for exploring Le Marais and Bastille areas. Room cleaned and tidied really well each morning. Helpful, relaxed yet professional staff. We had a room overlooking the main street which was lovely - we can't comment on rooms opening onto the central / internal light well but these would not have the same 'Parisien' feel as those with an external outlook.
J'avais demandé une chambre étage inférieur (Pour éviter ascenceur), on a eu une chambre au 6eme étage !.... J'avais demandé une chambre (601prévue 15m2 minimum)que je pensais confortable , mon épouse ayant subit une intervention chirurgicale le matin, on a eu la chambre la plus petite (Sur le plan ) ne dépassant pas 12m2... on pouvait à peine bouger . Ayant réservé directement sur votre site ,( pour vous éviter les frais de booking.com) Je pensais avoir réservé le petit dej ,( erreur de ma part ), mais remise en place assez froide ... A part l'emplacement près de l'opéra Bastille , objet de notre choix , et ayant l'habitude d'hôtel 4 étoiles pour le même prix,je n'aurais Pas un très bon souvenir de votre hôtel ...

A great choice if you stay in Paris for a few days! Very good facilities and kind stuff ready to help you with everything! The area is beautiful with all you could need nearby (metro, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, reastaurants and bars)! Highly recommended!
This is more of a feedback as I didn't remember to mention about it when checking out (room 604); Shower/bathroom drain smells continually. Bathroom drain keeps "blup" sounds some time after water is getting into the drain.
The hotel was in the perfect location, the hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful - my only gripe was that our room only had a window looking out onto a staircase - it would have been nice to have a room on to the street but it was great value so I can't complain.

Had two times a pillow with “balls” formed inside from too long use (sweat). Was solved by picking the other pillow on the bed, but this as the bed is most important for a hotel this should be in order. WiFi worked, but mobile reception was at points too weak. As for work I prefer creating a hotspot with my phone rather than using a public WiFi, this was a downside.
Location was perfect for shopping around the corner in Marais, walking along the Seine to go to the Musee L’Orangerie and the Louvre (45 mins stroll), and to go to the numerous restaurants on Rue de Charonne (25 mins stroll). Breakfast was great, especially their own yoghurt. Decor was perfect and bed was extremely large and comfortable. When the toilet floor wasn’t cleaned properly, they rectified this as soon as requested. Only small downside was the extremely thin towels and the fact that the room faces into a small courtyard and the windows all face each other so you have to draw the curtains. However when the curtains are drawn it’s hard to wake up naturally and we ended up sleeping in!

Loved my short stay at Bastille-Speria. The staff were very friendly and the Deluxe Room was perfect for a short stay. The décor is fabulous and the location can’t be beaten to explore the Marais and surrounding neighbourhoods. The breakfast was also delicious.

Une belle expérience Parisienne, au cœur de mon quartier favoris. L’hôtel est situé à la fois au calme et à proximité d’une multitude d’attractions. Les lieux sont décorés avec goût, une rénovation visiblement récente. La chambre est plutôt généreuse vus les standards parisiens. Le lit queen size est confortable et la salle de bain est très fonctionnelle. Le mini bar est bien équipé. L’hôtel est allé se sourcer chez Fragonard pour ce qui est produits d’hygiène, un plaisir. C’est définitivement un de mes hôtels favoris dans cette gamme de prix. Le seul bémol est l’absence option végétalienne pour le petit dej donc pas pu goûter mais c’est une remarque plutôt générale pour la France.

Quartier très agréable, rue calme à deux pas de tout ce qu'on peut espérer trouver lors d'un séjour à Paris : restaurants, spectacles, shopping, transports en commun, etc... Excellent choix.
Odeur d’égout persistante dans la chambre et gros problème d’aération. Wifi catastrophique. Impossible de travailler. Service pour le petit déjeuner inexistant et conditions sanitaires douteuses (énormément de monde concentré au même endroit). Nous n’avons donc pas pris de petit déjeuner pendant les 3 jours de notre séjour et avons demandé une remise de 84 euros (14 X 2 X 3 jours) qui nous a été refusée sans raison valable.
I had never travelled to Paris before but had been told some negatives prior. I found Paris to be charming, the people pleasant and the city very clean. The location of this hotel was perfect. Bastille was great for restaurants and bars. The hotel was in the centre of it all. The rooms met our expectations and breakfast was fantastic.

It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Bastille Speria. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to the elevator which took us to the sixth floor, the deluxe room. The room has the most comfortable kingsize bed an two windows overlooking the inconic parisian streets of the Bastille neighbourhood. It was very clean, and included a coffee- and teastation. The bathroom is spacious and includes a deep bath that'll serve you well after a day of wondering the streets of paris and needing some rest. Breakfast was amazing! It was very varied and included something for everyone. There are amazing options for bread (croissants, baguette, pain au chocolat), lots of cheeses, sausage, fresh fruits, dried fruits, cornflakes, fresh jus d'orange, good coffee and ommelettes. The tables looked classy and offered a cozy and charming start of the day. The Hotel is located near nice restaurants, fun bars for going out and getting drinks, massage salons, flowershops and there's a pharmacy right next to the hotel. It is in the very heart of paris and located next to metrostation Bastille from which you can explore the beautiful city. I would highly reccomend staying here to anyone. For those who enjoy a calm and peaceful stay to get some rest, for those who love to go out and party (because there's many bars on walking distance) and for those in town for business (good wifi for online meetings). It is truly a hotel that keeps in mind the needs of their guests and offers an unforgettable stay in the City of Love.

Agreable surprise!
We stayed only for one night, we received a warm welcome. The room was cosy and extremly clean, also the breakfast was more than enough. The hotel is just around the corner of Platte de la Bastille, with a metrostop so close it a good start to visit other places in Paris.
The hotel has everything I ordered/demmand. The staff is always available to help you and the location is perfect.

J’avais demandé à pouvoir surprendre ma moitié avec des pétales en chambre et d’avoir l’opportunité d’avoir une baignoire (toutes les chambres n’en sont pas forcément équipées). A notre arrivée nous furent agréablement surpris par les pétales délicatement et joliment déposés ainsi qu’une salle de bain avec baignoire ! Le personnel est charment, à l’écoute et disponible. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé et sa propreté irréprochable. Bref, merci beaucoup à l’équipe du Bastille Speria et pour les futurs clients, allez y les yeux fermés.
My mom and I stayed here 4 nights. The location was great - close to public transportation, shops, supermarket, pharmacies, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was small but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The price was reasonable - I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Accueil réception tout à fait correct. Mais la personne ne savait pas nous renseigner sur le n° du bus à prendre pour rejoindre la gare de l''Est et n'a pas cherché. Nous l'avons trouvé nous même. Un bus direct à 100m! . Pour les personnes non familières avec les applications informatiques, ça peut être compliqué. Locaux ,chambre et salle de bain très propres et bien aménagés. Literie super. Petit déjeuner correct, mais le jus de fruit était tourné et piquait sur la langue.Nlus l'avons signalé. Sinon bon hôtel à recommander, bien placé. Un peu cher mais le quartier y est certainement pour quelque chose. En résumé,hôtel à recommander.

Spent 4 nights in this hotel with my partner for a pre Christmas break. The hotel room was very clean and extremely comfortable. We were on the 6th floor so we had a lovely view. The location is amazing ! Right beside the metro. The shops and cafes near this hotel are some of the cutest in Paris. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend booking this hotel.

I stayed in two different 3* star hotel between Dec 7-9th. I am so glad to have chosen Speria. What a confort. The room size is definetely unusual vs std Parisien rooms. The bathroom and bedding are classy. The location is magnificient. Literally 2 steps from line 1 at Bastille station which takes you to Gare de Lyon (1 stop) or to city's most touristic locations (Louvre, Chatelet etc). Not to forget hotel is next to Paris's best brasserie. The Marais is in your door steps too. I know i found my place in Paris for next time I am in town.

En la pequeña calle en la que se encuentra el hotel hay restaurantes y pizzerías. También supermercados cercanos. El hotel nos guardó el equipaje tras el check out hasta la salida de nuestro avión. Zona tranquila y segura.

Hotel Bastille Speria is strategically located at 1 underground stop from the Gare de Lyon (on line 1). It can be easily reached also from the airports (RER + city underground). The hotel is clean and silent (the street is not allowed to vehicular traffic). The staff is very professional. As all the buildings in this historical area of Paris, le Marais, the hotel is actually an ancient building, even if you cannot detect it from the outside. This involves that some rooms are very small, with a tiny space for the clothes. If you do not plan to stay many hours per day in the room, I warmly suggest this hotel, perfect for the visitor who needs to have well and fast connected in the town.

We found dirty sheet at 10pm. Reception was not able to change it, we are obliged to go down to reception where we found a sheet cover not a real replacement. The day after the new receptionist hasn't been informed. We asked to replace with a new sheet through room cleaners. When we were back in the early afternoon, sheets have not been replaced! What a service for 200€+ per night! Avoid it.

J'ai tout aimé: son emplacement idéal, l’accueil et le dévouement du personnel, la déco moderne et chaleureuse, et ma chambre car bien que de petite taille, elle était lumineuse, chaleureuse, aux couleurs reposantes et très propre. J'ai apprécié particulièrement la qualité de la literie et surtout l'insonorisation. Je recommande le Bastille Speria à tous ceux qui aiment le confort dans un cadre élégant.

Après avoir attribué le plus souvent le maximum d'étoiles dans le questionnaire "enquête de satisfaction" qui m'a été soumis, je déplore deux aspects : 1- Le prix élevé pour une chambre de surface très réduite ; 2- L'absence de parking sur place (cas de la plupart des hôtels Paris intra-muros) et un parking public extérieur un peu éloigné et horriblement coûteux (pouvoir se garer dans la rue juste à côté ne sert à rien puisque le lendemain matin les contraventions redémarrent dès 6 h du matin au tarif de 50 euros si payée dans les 8 jours)

In general we have a very positive impression of the hotel. Location is great. We had a superior room, which was big enough for two of us and our luggage. I informed about our arrival between 13-14, but the room was not ready and there was no clear message when it would be. We waited 25 min in the lobby and checked in at 13:40 (20min before official time). Another confusing thing was cleaning: after coming back one day I found my pajama (which I placed under the pillow) “thrown” into the chair. Also zipped bags which we used for shampoo and other bath stuff were just thrown away. Also walls are a bit thin but this was not disturbing

On the occasion of going to the Bastille opera, I booked at this hotel, where I was very well looked after and they helped me with a problem I had regarding my flights. The room was not very big, but very comfortable and quiet. I will definitely come back to this hotel.
We recently visited Paris for the weekend (my husband and I). The hotel staff were all very pleasant and friendly. The room was perfect for our requirements with regard to size and amenities. The quality of the pillows was very poor but as both pillows and the spare in the wardrobe were all of the same quality we saw no point in asking reception for replacements. All were made of balls of loosely filled fibre. Location was really good and we could reach everywhere we wanted to visit on foot. Breakfast was only a let down when it came to the hot food selection. There were only scrambled eggs (not sure what the content was) and sliced hot dog sausages on offer but the bread, ham, cheese, yogurt and cereals were all ok. Nespresso coffee and a small toaster so apart from the hot food it was all ok. The lift was broken for 1 day so a bit of a pain having to use the stairs but it was only for 1 day. There was an incident of theft in the hotel when we were present and one of the other residents advised us that 2 laptops had been stolen from their room. This was very disconcerting but I have to point out that the safes were large enough to secure laptops. All in all a nice hotel in a great location.

The hotel was great, ideally located in the centre of Bastille with lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were welcoming and friendly and rooms were well equipped and very clean. My only complaint was the noise levels in the room, which disrupted our sleep on a few occasions during our stay. (Coming from both other rooms and the road outside)Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel

Perfect location near metro station, restaurants and cafés. Very very clean rooms but small, narrow and little space for two persons although it was a deluxe doubleroom! The bathroom was very clean and nice. The staff was correct and did his job. But NO warm smile, I felt no real interest for my request but they did JUST their job with no delight. The hotel did not satisfies my request, although I explicitly asked for it twice and they confirmed my request previously my e-mail. That was disappointing! The deluxe room was not as described on Booking.com. Instead of a nice view as described, I had a direct view of a wall and a emergency exit stairs. The room was very dark. This was the most disappointing hotel for me so far. I can NOT recommend this hotel. But the location is really perfect and the cleanliness was exceptionally good. I deeply regret to have choosen this hotel. And just a little smile costs nothing and it works wonders.

I have one point of critisism, on our second day we we're out of the room from 8 in the morning, till 5 in the afternoon and still our room wasn't made up, we put the sign up on the door when we left. After 5 minutes of returning the cleaning lady came knocking on our door to clean, we had plans so didn't have time to vacate the room again, so our room wasn't cleaned that day.
